Summary | The Mosaic Project’s evidence-based, social-emotional learning curriculum emphasizes building empathy, resilience, and community. Social-emotional issues are addressed within the context of larger systems that perpetuate inequality (i.e. segregation, prejudice and discrimination). Their primary program, the Outdoor Project is specifically designed for elementary school children as studies widely agree that children begin to exhibit prejudice between 2 and 8 years old which reinforces the urgency of early intervention.
