Resource Title Roots of Empathy (ROE) - Anti-Bullying Program
Summary

Roots of Empathy (ROE) is an evidence-based classroom program with significant effect in reducing levels of aggression among school children while raising social/emotional competence and increasing empathy. This anti-bullying program starts as early as preschool and brings a loving parent and a baby to classrooms to help children learn to understand the perspective of others. When the baby cries, an instructor helps students consider what might be wrong and as they try to resolve the dilemma, they learn empathy for others.
