Resource Title Are “Gamers” More Likely to be “Bullies”?
Summary

Justin W. Patchin of the Cyberbullying Research Center has written an interesting blog about youth who self-identify as “gamers” (players of video games) being more at risk for engaging in a host of anti-social behaviors including bullying. In a 2016 survey of 12-17-year-olds Patchin and colleagues included some questions about gaming in a subsample of about 1,500 respondents. The article shares what they discovered. The full research article can be found in the Journal of School Violence.
