Summary Bullying. Most people sometimes freeze or react poorly because they don’t understand the reality of what is happening. They may be in disbelief or don’t know what to do.

Young people need to be taught the skills needed to prevent and stop bullying including how to break out of denial, overcome feelings of discomfort, and get help if they see or hear bullying taking place.
